1/2cupsugar
1/2cupbrown sugar
1 1/2tspcinnamon

2pie crustsstore-bought or homemade
Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Peel, core, and slice apples.
In a saucepan, melt butter and whisk in flour to form a roux. Add water, sugars, cinnamon, nutmeg, and vanilla. Stir until slightly thickened.
Place one pie crust in a dish. Fill with apples and pour sauce over them. Cover with the second crust, crimp edges, and cut slits in the top.
Bake for 60 minutes or until crust is golden and apples are tender. Cool before serving.
