Ingredients

  • 8 Cups Water
  • 4-5 Black Tea Bags or green tea, herbal tea, etc.
  • 1/4 Cup Sugar
  • As Needed Lemon Slice Garnish
  • As Needed Fresh Mint Garnish
  • As Needed Ice Cubes

Instructions

  • Bring 8 cups of water to a boil.
  • Place 4-5 tea bags into a heatproof pitcher. Pour the boiling water over the tea and let it steep for 5-10 minutes, depending on the tea and your preferred strength.
  • If you like sweetened tea, stir in ΒΌ cup of sugar (or more to taste) while the tea is still hot.
  • Remove the tea bags and allow the tea to cool to room temperature. Then refrigerate until cold, or add ice to cool it down faster.
  • Fill glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled tea over the ice. Garnish with lemon slices or mint for extra flavor.
