Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 Tbsp brown sugar
  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tsp black pepper
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/2 tsp onion powder
  • 1/2 tsp dry mustard

Instructions

  • In a medium bowl, whisk together the BBQ sauce, brown sugar, Worcestershire sauce, pepper, garlic powder, salt, onion powder, and dry mustard.
  • Before you marinate, pat the brisket dry with paper towels.
  • Place the brisket in a large resealable plastic bag or a dish. Pour the marinade over the brisket, making sure it's evenly coated. Seal the bag or cover the dish with plastic wrap and refrigerate.
  • Let the brisket marinate for at least 4 hours, but for best results, aim for overnight.
  • Once your brisket has marinated, you’re ready to cook!
