Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup cilantro
  • 3 avocados ripe
  • 1 jalapeno
  • 1/4 cup red onion
  • 1/4 cup tomatoes
  • 1 Tbsp lime juice
  • 1/2 tsp salt

Instructions

  • Start by chopping the cilantro, jalapeño, red onion, and tomatoes. If you prefer a smoother guacamole, chop them finely. For chunkier guac, you can leave the pieces a bit larger.
  • Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a bowl. Using a fork or potato masher, mash the avocados until they reach your desired consistency.
  • Once the avocados are mashed, add the chopped cilantro, jalapeño, red onion, and tomatoes. Mix everything together gently so that the flavors combine but the ingredients maintain some texture.
  • Add lime juice and salt to the mixture. Stir to combine, then taste and adjust the seasoning as needed.
  • Transfer the guacamole to a serving bowl and dig in!
