Take your 25 vanilla beans and split them down the middle lengthwise using a sharp knife
Place your split vanilla beans into the 1.75 L bottle of vodka. Make sure all the beans are fully submerged.
Store the vanilla extract in a cool, dark place, like a pantry or cupboard, for at least 3 months. The longer it sits, the stronger the flavor becomes.
