Ingredients

  • 1 ripe banana preferably frozen
  • 2 Tbsp peanut butter
  • 1 Tbsp cocoa powder
  • 1 cup milk of choice
  • 1 Tbsp honey or maple syrup optional
  • 1/2 tsp vanilla extract
  • ice cubes optional for a thicker smoothie

Instructions

  • Start by gathering all your ingredients. If you haven’t already frozen your banana, peel one and pop it into the freezer for about an hour. Optional but recommended.
  • In a blender, combine the banana, 2 tablespoons of peanut butter, 1 tablespoon of cocoa powder, 1 cup of milk, ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract, and sweetener if using. If you want your smoothie extra thick, toss in a few ice cubes.
  • Blend all the ingredients together until the mixture is smooth and creamy. If it's too thick for your liking, feel free to add a little extra milk to thin it out.
  • Pour the smoothie into a glass and enjoy right away!
