Pepper Steak

- 1 Tbsp soy sauce
- 1/2 tsp ginger ground or fresh
- 1 Tbsp oil
- 1 lb sirloin cut into strips
- 1 yellow onion julienned
- 1 bell pepper julienned
- as needed gravy store-bought or homemade
Julienne the onion and pepper, and slice the sirloin into thin strips.
Heat oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the sirloin strips and cook for 2-3 minutes, just until browned. Remove and set aside.
In the same skillet, cook the onion and pepper for 3-5 minutes, until softened.
Add soy sauce and ginger to the skillet, then return the sirloin. Pour in the gravy and simmer for 2-3 minutes to thicken.
Enjoy over rice, noodles, or mashed potatoes.
